How is a referral "qualified"? expand_more

A referral is qualified when the restaurant you referred (1) signs up using your link, (2) starts a paid subscription — not just a free trial, and (3) stays in good standing for at least 30 days (no refund, no chargeback). Full rules in the Affiliate Agreement.

When and how do I get paid? expand_more

Commissions become payable 30 days after the qualifying conversion (to account for refunds). Once your balance hits the $100 minimum, payouts run automatically via Stripe Connect. Manual ACH or check available on request.

Can I refer my own restaurant? expand_more

No. Self-referrals (and referrals to organizations you own or control) are prohibited and will be voided. If you're a Waddy customer, use our separate customer referral program instead — it credits free months to your account for each paid signup you bring in.

Do I need to disclose that I'm an affiliate? expand_more

Yes — the FTC requires it. Include a clear, visible disclosure (e.g. "I'm a Waddy affiliate — I earn a commission if you sign up through this link") wherever you promote Waddy. We provide templates in the Affiliate Portal.

Can I bid on "Waddy" keywords in Google Ads? expand_more

No. Trademark bidding on "Waddy," "waddy.us," or confusingly similar terms is prohibited and voids the associated commissions. This protects both of us and keeps customer acquisition costs fair for everyone.
